Eureka

I have figured out the reason why I'm a shopaholic: I hate doing laundry. Yup, I had this minor epiphany as I walked by the clothes dryer (clothes have been in there since Sunday) and turned it back on for the 900th time. I think--after 3 days and 900 dry cycles--if the clothes aren't dry yet, I need a new dryer. But no, the dryer works just fine and I keep drying the load. After I pressed the button I went to my closet to look for a certain shirt. When I couldn't find it, my first thought was to buy another one. Heaven forbid I have to look for it in the hamper! Anyway, I found the shirt. It was in the dryer. :)

Also, today's the Everybody Everywear thrift movement. It's my first time participating and well...I'm a little excited. So excited that I forgot to upload the original pictures for this post and had to have an impromptu photo shoot in the ladies restroom.

  2. Oh I so feel you.  I literally did 135lbs of laundry this weekend. I only know that because I HAD to take it a laundry place because it would have taken me a week to do by myself.

    Dang! And living in an apt bldg doesn't help; having to lug stuff up and down... i guess it makes for a good work out, haha!

    Hehe, I'm just like you. I have laundry (two baskets!) that's been sitting by my bed for close to three weeks...I finally washed it so now it's clean and sitting by my bed. Instead of folding it, I wore clothes I don't normally wear and then went shopping. Whoops!

    Ha Ha- I could have written that post. I'm terrible about just turning the dryer back on. Someone needs to invent a laundry robot for us :)
